PRIZES, AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES
The College awards the following Prizes and Scholarships to the students:
Under Motivation Programmes:

Merit Scholarship: Based upon the result of the University Examination in each semester, branch wise; and for B. Tech. I Year, amongst all students, Semester wise.
First Prize Rs. 5000/-
Second Prize Rs. 3000/-
If the result of revaluation is declared after the award ceremony, then it will not be considered.
- Highest attendance award of Rs. 1000/- for each semester, branch-wise; and for I year B.Tech.students, not branch-wise.
- Bumper Lucky Draw to be held, twice a year, for all the students having attendance above 55%. However, as per university rules a student having attendance less than 75% will not be permitted to appear in the university examinations.
- Students having attendance less than 55% in any of the subjects, along with the students booked under disciplinary action will be debarred from the following benefits:
- Will not be enrolled in the list of students for placement.
- Will not be entitled to compete in any competition inside/outside the college.
- Will not be permitted to accompany on educational tour and industrial visit.
- Will not be issued the certificate of "Regular Student of MECRC" for Scholarship, character certificate or any other purpose.
- Will be debarred from participating in any other event as decided by the authorities.
- All the students must provide correct information in filling all the forms. Submitting incorrect information may lead to disciplinary action or fine of Rs. 500/-
- Certificates to the winners in the events of cultural activities, games & sports activities, etc. will be distributed during Annual Function.
- From the session '07-08'; a unique award category was being introduced in the name of "Innovation & Creativity award." Under this, a prize money of Rs.5000/- is awarded to those students who showcase their creativity & innovation in some form or the other.
